Gooseberry Falls — 30ft Cascade in Minnesota
Gooseberry Falls is a 30-foot cascade waterfall in Klamath County, Minnesota, reached by an easy walk over 1 miles.
Gooseberry Falls is the iconic Minnesota North Shore waterfall — actually a series of five small-to-medium cascades on the Gooseberry River where it meets Lake Superior, in Gooseberry Falls State Park about 50 minutes northeast of Duluth. The Upper, Middle, and Lower Falls are each accessible from the visitor center via well-maintained paved trails; total walk is under 1 mile to see all three. The CCC-era stonework throughout the park is exceptional. It's the first major stop on the Minnesota North Shore drive and one of the most-visited Minnesota state parks.
